Only know this, just checked out thier web site.
There is a place in hanson massachusetts, the name excapes me. RT27 hanson ma. right by the train station.

Black powder has its own rules on storage limits and such. Reason being most places dont have any. The black powder guys I know tend to buy in bulk whick last them a few years or have gone to the pellets found at dicks, bass pro ect ect.

If you ever make it out west of boston, these folks have it:

"I love a good gun, for it makes a man feel independent, and prepared either for war or peace." - Davy Crockett, 1834.

"When asked in 1998 how he had become such a good shot, he answered, "Practice." When asked if he regretted killing so many people, he said "I did what I was told to as well as I could." - Finnish Sniper Simo Hayha

Because you can't use them in a flintlock. (At least not without some real BP for the pan and as a starter) I found this out while researching the Brown Bess replica my dad gave me.

Bobs Sporting goods on rt. 16 in Webster carries the real stuff. You have to ask for it. They have a decent selection of BP stuff on the shelves including a bunch of different BP substitutes. I was afraid I was out of luck but I asked the clerk and they had it behind the counter. She also asked for my license and told me it was all because of new regs post 911.

So yesterday I fired the first shot ever, out of a gun my dad won in a raffle back in 1976.
