What did you do in the reloading room recently?

From this What did you do in the reloading room recently?

to this.. Full room for my son and his buds to jam, and the other side for me to do gun stuff.. I will share my space with him for his airsoft stuff (all guns in pics are airsoft, so no storage issues).

so.. built the wall behind the drum set, and the wall separating the two areas.. sheetrocked the 1/2 wall in the drum room. coat of masonry paint on the walls and floor. I had the cabinets already, but just needed a small counter for the low ones.

95% done. Just need to put the ceiling and flush mount lighting on the gun side.

I have sinned, forgive me. Been using Dillon my whole reloading life and have mostly blue everything.

Today I mounted a RCBS Rockchucker ona Inline Fabrication 4” riser with quick mount plates. Also got a few accessories for it such as the 3D printed primer catch, case ejector system and side bin mount.

Also got a RCBS Chargemaster Supreme and waiting for delivery of several case holders.

I have the same RCBS set-up, gets alot of use, even with all the Dillon presses. Add the Articulating arm for the LEE Perfect powder measure - Inline Fabrication then add a piece of 1" angle and you can swing it over, just behind the 2 catch bins and fit 2 bins to hold your components. Much faster and ergonomic.

I got my 550 mounted to my bench. :) I couldn’t find my primer flip tray or my 3-ring binder with loading data. :( IDG_20250624_141051_931.jpeg

So I ordered another flip tray, received the new flip tray, researched load data for my bullets and powder and got ready to load. Of course, when I went back in the basement, I found both the primer flip tray and 3-ring binder. :D

So I loaded 200 rounds. :)

And in the process I broke the retaining clip on the top of my sizing / depriming die. :(

That bench is way to clean you need me and mac to come over and fix that for you

Needed to expand my work area so I doubled the size of the bench. It was getting too crowded with reloading and firearms projects/cleaning.

Much Better

Also been trying to get my 11 year daughter to upgrade from 410 to 20G.
I don't own a 410 and I think my buddy wants his back.. LOL

She's been a bit nervous but I loaded up some low recoil/low pressure 3/4 oz 20G shells for her to try and it was a success. She didn't mind the recoil at all.
That little youth Tristar is a great gun for kids.

If she does not understand the gauging system go to the small gauge of 12.
I load a powder puff 7/8 12g that will crush clays at 16 yards once your on them .

I just finished loading up 100 - 6.5 Creedmoor and 60 - 300 Savage using my new Lee Pro Auto Disk power measure with the double disk kit on my single stage press. Im quite happy with it, no leakage and very consistent.

Getting ready to load 100 each new Starline brass 38 special and 357 Magnum. I will be trying the adjustable charging bar for it instead of a disk. I was reading that it can be used on top of a disk for rifle charges using the double disk spacers. I will try that next time a load some rifle rounds. Then you can fine tune your charge weight to exactly what you want.

I'll be testing it on my progressive press with 9mm soon. The Lee Auto Drum would way overflair any Blazer brass and it always leaked a little.
