Long answer to your question. Yes. This is the NRA Basic Pistol Course.

The instructor is almost certainly certified by MA as a basic firearms safety instructor, since he storngly implies the class qualifies for an LTC, however, classes listed do not count without the certificate from the MA certified instructor.

Technically speaking, the answer "Long answer to your question. Yes. This is the NRA Basic Pistol Course." does not convey sufficient information.
