I also have a Henry carbine in 38/357. It will shoot 38 special but the rifle definitely performs better with 357. 38 specials don't feed as reliably and they are nowhere near as accurate as 357 mag. 38 specials are fun for short range plinking at like 25 yards. If you try them at 50 yards...

Titegroup in 45acp worked very well. Good group on paper.....bangs plates.....running the 6 plate rack in 3.48 clean on average. Had one run under 3.
