  1. Travel out of Logan with suppressors

This is where FOPA is a steaming pile of dogshit as written. There is nothing written in FOPA that protects the traveler in regards to magazines, ammunition or any other accessories that may be classified differently than a firearm. Especially in MA where a FID or LTS is needed for even spent...
  2. ATF Form 4 thread. Process and approvals!

The wording on that is not completely clear to my uneducated mind. The first paragraph says a “successor trustee may from time to time serve as the trustee here under”. That picture shows who is named an which title but doesn’t say what the title’s capabilities are. Personally I would send...
  3. ATF Form 4 thread. Process and approvals!

Ultimately, you will need to read the language of your specific trust and see who is considered a responsible person. As a co-trustee, your wife will definitely need to submit fingerprints, a photo, and fill out the responsible person questionnaire. Your kids as successor trustee’s really...
  4. What did you do in the reloading room recently?

You might be the first person I’ve heard of to buy new 9mm brass. Curious what your cost breakdown is to reload 9mm. You would be better off spending 5-10 minutes picking up brass at any range. If you’re going to buy brass for 9mm it’s probably not worth the cost and effort to reload.
  5. Tax stamp / Suppressor wait times

    Well it’s the government, so…..
  6. Tax stamp / Suppressor wait times

Basically they receive your application and prints. Then they put it in a pile while you wait to get to the front of the line. Somewhere 7-10 or maybe 11 or 12 or 14 months later it lands on an examiners desk who does a 30 second check to make sure the paperwork is completed and then sends...
  7. Which 38/357 magnum dies?

Got a new lever gun on the way and am getting the tools together to start loading. Which 38/357 magnum dies should I consider from my Dillon 650? I like the idea of seating and crimping in different dies and have the spot for it but I’m open to anything. Dillon dies are basically non existent...
  8. Someone shot themself at Sig.

    No details yet.
  9. MSP Black Hot

    I should buy a thermal.
  10. What did you do in the reloading room recently?

Update from my post above. I’ve now completed three batches through the wet tumble. This FART is amazing. Why didn’t I start wet tumbling years ago?
  11. What did you do in the reloading room recently?

Running a second batch or 223/5.56 through the new wet tumbler currently. Trying to get as much prepped as I can before I start processing and loading ammo. Currently it’s just picked up brass I want to get the card off before going through my press.
  12. Deals and steals

Go in the bathroom and blind yourself in the mirror. 😂
  13. Deals and steals

Got my three delivered yesterday. Gave one to the wife and put some in some different kits and truck. Read the programming instructions. It’s very easy to do. I change most mine to high mode only.
  14. One in a billion chance?? Ejected brass sets off cartridge

I’m gonna bold this as the cool factor we all wish we could play with.
  15. One in a billion chance?? Ejected brass sets off cartridge

It’s as simple as flipping one tray into another after inspection. The other reason I was told this is to prevent bullet setback. I’ve never experienced it but some old time reloaders would say the bullet could seat deeper if the rounds got banged around or dropped over time. Crimping should be...
  16. One in a billion chance?? Ejected brass sets off cartridge

It’s happened a few times. There’s another video I remember of a center fire round going off in the exact same manner. It’s one of the reasons I was always told to put rounds bullet up in boxes for my reloads or in a loose ammo can and not primer up.
  17. What did you do in the reloading room recently?

That’s not good, you should email federal and see what they have to say about it.
  18. What did you do in the reloading room recently?

Brand new cutting blade and also flipped it to a deferent size. Update: I’m still getting the same results but not as frequently. Not is about 1 out of 4 cases which I think whoever said it may be right, or at least a contributing factor is me going a little too fast. I’m purposely going slow...
  19. What did you do in the reloading room recently?

I understand the RT1500 only trims and does not chamfer or debur. I guess I’m just expecting a little cleaner of a cut.
  20. What did you do in the reloading room recently?

Mixed cases. I’m not doing anything for precision. Just blasting ammo. I’ve gone over everything 10 times and can’t find anything loose. The bench is solid and secure, press is fine, pulled apart, cleaned and checked all parts and pieces of the conversion kit when I swapped over from 9mm.
