I bought the 51st edition for the 6mm ARC data. If anybody is interested in the 50th edition Lyman Reloading Handbook claim it here and send me a PM with your address. I’m traveling a bit but I will ship this out as soon as I can.
I would keep the bench at a standard bench height for supplies and other work. I use a high mount from inline fabrication and it’s perfect. If you have multiple presses like I do the one with the swappable base is incredible. I then built a rack to hold the loaders I’m not using...
Brownells has small rifle primers in stock, including magnum. They also have pistol primers but I didn't look at what was in stock.

Yeah, its interesting but I'm not ready to swap powders. I'm still using all new brass because I don't fully understand the sizing and trimming. Its next on my list of things to conquer, I'm sitting on thousands of rounds of once fired brass. The depth of reloading is pretty crazy, I started...
I always learn stuff in this thread, I'm only about 24 months into reloading. I didn't even know this existed, I literally only follow exact recipes from published guides. It seems obvious that you could use a burn rate tool, it never dawned on me this was a thing. Thank you!
Funny enough is exactly what I’m loading, 75gr V-MAX. I want to load some 58gr screamers and 103 ELDx for coyotes. Most of these powders are still hard to source. I just happened have a jug of 4895 so that's what I’m working with.
Yeah, and yet they sold out. I have paid silly amounts for certain components. If your dope is set up around a custom build you pay or start over. Crazy times.
Anybody interested in the Hornady 10th edition reloading handbook? They are currently on the 11th. Its up to date except for a few cartridges like 6mm ARC, 6.5 PRC and 22-6, stuff that’s pretty new. Comment you want it and PM me your address. It might take me a couple weeks to get it out to you...
I bought a Lyman complete manual but I mostly use the Hornady app. I think it’s $20 a year. I just looked up 8x57 Mauser and they have data on four different bullet weights and Norma 202 for all the weights. I like the app and it’s easily updated if things change or something new get SAMMI...
Congrats! If you see yourself picking up another press or just don’t like a permanent fixture on your bench check out the mounting options from Inline. Also, bullet plates are sold separately!

Yeah, that was the only one I found and I passed. I just bought the one linked on Gunbroker, it’s still insane but it’s the last thing I need and I’m sitting on years of stockpiled components. Thank you for the lead though.
I finally set up my Hornady AP progressive and I was such a noob when I bought it back in 2015 I didn't know you needed shell plates. If you see a Hornady Shell Plate #8 (Part # 392608) in the world let me know, alternatively if you have one you would like to sell I will overpay. There doesn't...
I’ve had good success with Ammoseek. Go to Ammoseek and create an account. Then do a search for handgun and primers. Don’t be surprised if there isn’t a single item in the search. Save that search and then set an alert. From here you have three options because you still have to be fast. You need...
This press is probably awesome, this dude is excited for sure. I have been reloading precision rounds and sometimes winning using a Hornady progressive press in its most basic setup. In precision reloading the dies make all of the difference. Match grade lights out ammo can be made on any press...
