I’m not from Mass but I’ve done enough eForm 1s that is has to be the step called additional supporting documentation. There you can upload any document. It’s right after the step where you enter the model and specs and before certify.
1) Correct, you enter the Glock model name exactly as its on the pistol, don't trust the drop down list and serial number.
2) A pic of the side of the pistol with the serial number and model is optional, it can't hurt to send the pic.
3) You upload prints if you are using an EFT file and not...
You received a cover letter in your email the moment you paid in the ATF portal. Send a pair of prints along with the cover letter to the WV address listed. You have 10 days to get them to the ATF, for a while they were being cool with not meeting the 10 days but they have been doing...
Lots of people claiming the ATF isn't batch approving eForm 4s. I had four eForm 4s approved within hours of each other and the submissions were over two weeks. The problem is the volume was still so light in December of 21 and early January of 22 it's hard to know if they were batched or just...
I’ve had batch approvals for my last three or four in row. My December and January approvals all came within 5 minutes of each other. It’s a coin toss but the odds are better than zero you could get a batch. It makes sense to work through the backlog, but making sense isn’t the ATF way all the time.
I had a few from December and January clear in 30 to 45 days, it was incredible. Now I have 9 pending with the oldest date of 04/24/22. I’m hoping they do a batch approval.
I'm calling bullshit until I see a flow restriction test that proves otherwise. Sig wants me to believe that adding a silencer to a rifle will increase flow over an unsuppressed weapon, nah.
How your guns are handled upon your death is definitely solved by a trust. That said, if you name the person in your LW&T that you want your NFA items to go to they are transferred on a Form 5 at no charge.
In my opinion, the biggest benefit to a trust is allowing RPs access to your NFA items...
There is a lot of answers to questions here, many cover your unique needs in Mass.
In short,
Yes, National Gun Trusts is a great place to start but there are many.
No, fingerprint cards sent with your cover letter. As of last night you can send EFT files instead of actual cards.

This is a great resource, still building the data sets but there is a decent amount of info on subsonic performance. You may have to re-sort.

Do you want a well balanced silencer, does well on super and subs? The other option is to pick a silencer that will excel on subs but won't be great on supers. Most of these have a S (mid) and L (long) version, some even have a K version, if you want to trade length for suppression.
The best...
I’ve wanted to do the Desert Tech for a long time but I’ve never pulled the trigger. It’s a cool platform but I have to assume it’s still a bullpup trigger.
