I am not a VV sales person!!
VV 3N38 measures real good as it is real small granules.
There is not a lot of info that i could find on this combination.
I thought i would try some and was surprised. Pleasantly!

So i was doing a little research for my 9mm and 147 gn for major power factor (PF)
major is 165. (bullet weight(grains) x speed (fps) / 1000)
here is what i found:
powder is VV 3N38
grains / bullet / bullet weight/ primer/ case make/ OAL/ FPS/ power factor.
6.4 mg cmj 147 cci500 mix 1.125...
Was loading 9mm on my progressive 5 station.
I have a bullet feeding die which i like.
i noticed one case did not take the fed bullet.
thought i messed up, and did not put it through the flaring die enough, ran it through again.
still no bullet.
inspected the case closer and found it was a .380...
So I tried it out and was impressed. Even with the flush mag I could rapid fire 10 rounds and keep them on the inner half of a uspsa brown man target at 15 yards.
It functioned 100% on a variety of ammo.
If they ever get on passed in mass I’m sure that there will be a different trigger. Mine...
who makes the best powders? across the board?
not just your one favorite load.
Personally liked vitavouri except for the price! most i tried were consistent and clean burning.
I used a lot of Hercules back in Scotland, 20+ years ago, that worked well also.
we were restricted to what we could...
i see a lot of VV loads for the centimeter with powders slower than N320. Like N340 and slower
Has anyone got info on N320 and especially 180 FMJ in 10 mm?
N320 is listed for 9 mm 40, 45. But I can’t find info for 10!
Tanks in advance
So I have decided on a Glock 20 (10mm) for defense on an Alaskan trip in the future.
I don’t want to hear about my choice of gun /caliber.
I was looking at 220 grain hard cast from buffalo bore and the like.
Then I read an article on a brown bear being shot and killed in self defense (was...
so hypothetically, if i had a 320x5 which in on the roster as "formal target shooting" and the web site states
"The Formal Target Shooting Roster contains firearms that have been designated as being designed and sold only for formal target shooting competitions."
and i take that trigger and...
im looking for a good 10mm auto pistol for an alaskan trip.
I am a big sig fan, but the p220 is only 8+1
however i do like my new p320 X5 (striker fired) so maybe a glock is the one?
20, 29 or 40?
I think the 10mm needs a longer barrel to build up the energy so now its down to 20 or 40
I live my new X5 and shoot it better than any of my other sigs. It is factory apart from talon grips.
Has anyone got the x5 and one of the smaller p320's?
are the smaller ones just as pointable and quick from the draw as the x5?
.....i might have the signess......
I got a used PPs here in MA. a few months ago.
thought it was a great size for a 9mm for CC
I already have a sig p238. but trying to keep the calibers the same was the thought wave at the time.
the PPS was nice enough to shoot. BUT the slide does not seem to want to slide forward all the way...
