  4. Dillon XL 650 versus Hornady Lock N Load Auto Progressive comparison

I've got one. I double-check when changing loads but so far it's always been spot-on. I always adjust the same way to keep any backlash out of the equation. Where I've found it most valuable is working up a load. I measure a couple of points and print out a cheat sheet from Excel. That...
  5. New IDPA Rulebook - Draft

They're talking about targets where hitting the steel makes the paper target in front fall down.

  8. Idea: Autoreloader

Look at what your competition would be: Dillon 1050: $1700 Bulletfeeder: $550 P/W autodrive: $800 Just over $3k for a setup with a decent history. If you're starting at $5k you need some advantage over motorizing a Dillon. Is it faster or more reliable or easier to set up and use?

You're the one who did all the work. I was happy to help.
  10. Atholl Highlanders Visit

  13. 20 gauge slug gun recommendations

Here's another recommendation for the Ultra-slug hunter. Mine cost me about as much as a slug barrel for my Mossberg and it's more accurate to boot.

  16. unsure where to post, hopefully this works.

While I can't help you out on finding a Maine-based instructor I will offer some advice: look at electronic muffs. These will amplify soft sounds and mute loud ones. You can crank the amplification way up on most of them.
  17. Beretta 92fs vs. S&W M&P 9mm

What are you looking to do with it? Personally I'd go with the M&P (I don't like DA/SA and the M&P fits my hand better) but my reasons may be completely irrelevant to you. Oh, and congratulations on you first gun-related post! [wink]
  18. New acquisitions for July 2008

  19. New acquisitions for July 2008

Here's my brand spanking new 642.
  20. Limited run of no-lock S&W 642s

Same as the regular 642: $399 or $389 cash. He had 4 left as of 40 minutes ago. Here's the fifth one: They're dash number 642-1 but a new production serial number.
