I want a slim case for this setup for hiking to some fun remote places to shoot. Any suggestions? FYI it clips together as one piece. I see Allen makes one for a typical breakdown model with a divided carrying section so they don't clank together or whatever. Does anyone have one they use for this? Thanks

I’d just find a pack with a hydration bag sleeve on the inside and make sure the bag is tall enough for the broken down configuration.

These are tall enough to fit it, it seems, but they both look “tactical”:

The LBT Titan Lite doesn’t have a hydration sleeve, but had interior Velcro so you could strap down the 10/22.

Edit: removed the grab n go bag because I forgot the Magpul backpacker isn’t barrel length dependent for its length.

Doesn't the 10/22 have a takedown version/bag?
It does (I have one) but it's not set up for good use with the Magpul stock. IMO, the Magpul stock is superior to the one from Ruger (swapped mine). The included bag is also pretty shitty if you put an optic on the gun.

I've not looked for a case/bag to carry the 10/22 Takedown anywhere but to the range. Not really into kicking and such.

This might work

The clamshell is 20.5” x 9.5” so it should fit a 10/22 Magpul backpacker (19.5” x 5.5”?). And then it has a normal small pack compartment.
