Hi guys, I'm having a bit of trouble with the trigger on one of my 10/22s, and I'm hoping to get it sorted out before I loan it out this weekend.
The rifle has a KID two stage trigger installed, which has been flawless until recently. Now about 40% of the time the trigger has been sticking back/failing to reset. I'll let my finger off the trigger, but the trigger does not release - it has to be manually pushed before it "pops" back into place. It doesn't require much force, just a little nudge before it springs back into the reset, but as you can imagine it kills the cadence of a string and could confuse a new shooter using the rifle.
I've sprayed some oil into the assembly but the problem remains. I'm hesitant to disassemble the trigger assembly because it's not a stock trigger.
Any thoughts?
