Hi guys, I'm having a bit of trouble with the trigger on one of my 10/22s, and I'm hoping to get it sorted out before I loan it out this weekend.

The rifle has a KID two stage trigger installed, which has been flawless until recently. Now about 40% of the time the trigger has been sticking back/failing to reset. I'll let my finger off the trigger, but the trigger does not release - it has to be manually pushed before it "pops" back into place. It doesn't require much force, just a little nudge before it springs back into the reset, but as you can imagine it kills the cadence of a string and could confuse a new shooter using the rifle.

I've sprayed some oil into the assembly but the problem remains. I'm hesitant to disassemble the trigger assembly because it's not a stock trigger.

Any thoughts?

I'd email/call that other Tony and ask for his input. He was super quick and helpful both times I had questions about 10/22 parts I bought from him.

Tell me about it! It took him 67 minutes to reply to my email, he gave me some pointers for getting it working for my shoot this weekend, and told me to mail it to him Monday regardless and he'll fix it up for me.

Awesome!

Excellent. He's definitely someone who stands behind his products. Glad he was able to come through for you.
