Last night I started another Form 1 and decided I'd like to do a 12.5" 5.56. My current upper is an Aero 16" with a mid length gas system and A2 fsb. My online searchin' is throwing mixed opinions on whether there's enough dwell time with a middy. What say yous guys? Would I have to dick around with the gas port or would it be less headache to swap barrels to a carbine system? My plan was to cut down the Aero myself as I have the tools.
