I don't know if I asked this before and I couldn't find anything in a search so here goes.

I got this holster thrown into my AO 1911 deal. It's in great shape.

I've been told it's a Vietnam era holster. Can anyone confirm? It's made by Cathey Enterprises. Any idea of it's value?

It looks like the ones that I was issued. Can't say if it is a repro or not. If you wanted the WWII look all the way, Old El Paso Saddelry makes a good WWII repro in brown russet which would have been the correct color for the period.

looks like mine is in better shape than those on ebay but it also appears it ain't worth crap.

thanks for the link.
I've been checking the prices on new holsters lately, takes your breath away. If the holster suits you, it's a bargain with new leather going $60 to $100 for a belt holster and over $200 for a brand-name large shoulder holster. OTOH, you can probably easily sell it for enough to buy your choice of nylon belt holsters.
