This is part of a 12 gun project, a Colt from each decade built in the most prevalent style of that decade. In the 1990's bowling pin shooting was still a thing. This build features a original Clark comp and BoMar sight with a Kart match barrel. Just two more left in this project. the 30's and 70's. Enjoy.

What's that semicircular thing over the slide serrations? The guns I was shooting during the '90s were all military...
 
That's beautiful.

I shoot pins in a league every spring and summer, medium bore, then big-bore. I've only been participating for maybe 6 or 7 years, but the league's been running for 20 or 30 years. That kind of gun is not uncommon, although a lot of people run optics.
