With blade length at 26", and handle at an unusual f8".....this one is an ideal to my somewhat-experienced taste:
Blade of fair reach, but short enough to wield more readily; handle long enough for two-handed grip, but great for one hand...
- No apparent signature
- Nice appointments and treatments
- One fissure on one side of the blade, near the handle, but sure appears to be from-forging/original, and....not a detraction in my humble opinion.
Otherwise, in nice, pleasing and presentable condition.
Looks much nicer in-person....given the shadows of outside photography, etc.
These days......the bargain-basement WWII NCO swords......with the cast-aluminum handles, etc.....go for $800.
With regrets, offering this one for $700. $650. $625. $575. $525. $495.
