1st revolver!

I was looking for a revolver, just because I didn't have one, and I have a fondness for Czech weapons.
Stumbled on a Czechpoint 3540 up for trade, so I swapped one of my CZ82s for it.
It's a nice heavy steel .357 mag, made by Alfa Proj in the Czech Republic. Heavy double action, very light single action.

Still need to get it to the range , if I can find some reasonably priced ammo.

I'd track down the handsome wooden grip on the manual. Not crazy about the synthetic one on yours. However I really like the no nonsense finish on the revo itself.
What is it exactly? Parkerized?

That's a speed loader.

I do like the wood grips too, but the rubber is pretty comfortable to hold.

The whole thing is hot blued.

I'd expect it to be a lot better to shoot with the rubber on higher powered loads..
But wood always looks nicer.
