I recently just learned about conversion barrels! For some of you who dont know, thay make barrels to convert.. lets say your .40 cal to a 9mm. With the purchase of an extra barrel, you have two guns in one. They use the same spring, and in 90 percent of cases the case ejector works just fine. If you have a M&P or Shield 40 you can buy a factory 9mm barrel, slip it in, and your good to go. If you have lets say, a glock, or sig or a hk, they make a conversion barrel, i have a fire dragon, same thing. slip itin your pistol and your good to go. You can use the .40 magazines for your weapon, you may get a few feeding issues. SO.. im my case i have a glock 22, with a fire dragon conversion barrel to 9mm, but i have glock 17 mags (9mm) same frame so they fit, works flawless. This works for .40 to 9mm 40 to 357 sig 45 to 400 corbon ect. Fun to play with and have another caliber at your disposure without the need of a gunsmith or a $600 gun purchase. Happy shooting!!!
