I'm on 144.200 USB calling CQ NES. I think I heard someone down in the noise a couple of times, but can't make out any words.
Hmmm.. K i also heard you in the noise... I'm pointing my Antenna toward you and nothing. Well at least we tried. We will try 40m this Winter.

Still calling on 144.200. I wonder how much we loose due to the differences in your horizontal yagi and my vertical j-pole. Still, we've QSO's on FM simplex before.

Must be a propagation thing, though for these distances I didn't think 2M would change much. Maybe my house sunk deeper into the hole I live in. It must have. Last fall my mortgage company told me I'm now in a flood zone and have to pony-up $2,400/yr for flood insurance.
