So I just read an email from the NRA ILA about that case in which Chicagos ban on discharge was found unconstitutional. Does that apply now to any mass towns with discharge ordinances? The seventh circuit came to this conclusion. It was not scouts.

Ezell II: Orals In the 7th Circuit

It looks like this one needs a long-overdue update.

'Our side' won McDonald in 2010 striking down the ban on handgun possession in Chicago. The city responded by requiring residents who wanted to own guns to obtain live fire training and banning the operation of gun ranges in Chicago.

Again, we won.

In response the city responded with zoning regulations that would have limited gun ranges to industrial zones and prohibiting anyone under the age of 18 from entering a gun range. We won at the district level and the city appealed. Their case includes the claim that gun ranges and stores attract crime. Judging by this audio, the 7th circuit panel was having none of it.

Enjoy

Holy crap. That woman is a lawyer? She got man handled by those judges and had not evidence at all and even admitted her huge list of "witnesses" were merely supplying opinion without merit.

Chicago has a significant budget surplus they are trying to burn down with pointless court visits. It is not important that she be good or right, just that she fights the good fight and bills enough hours. $15/hr minimum wage for city employees is next...

I want to move to Chicago. It seems like such a wonderful sh*thole
