I’m going to echo Mac on this one. 223 is ok for single shots and bolts and single shots in the AR. Great tor trigger time and at practice without all the expensive ammo.Guys have gotten them to run fine but it takes a little bit of a dance to get her just right.40 cal has a reputation around here. I agree with it. It can be done and most tricks that help with 9 can help with 40.Now you need to buy a 45-70 because it will become as cheap to shoot as 9mm. Then you can throw that 40 away.
