.

Oh how I wish this could be.

Amen, but it won't, and that's why all independent registered voters in MA must, IMO, participate int he open Democratic primaries to derail Marsha. At this point we need to make sure we get the lesser of two evils come November 4 and Marsha must be stopped.

Mark who? Don't recall ever hearing his name before.

Seriously if the majority of voters don't recognize a name, that person doesn't stand a prayer of a chance. People vote on name recognition . . . most couldn't tell you what any candidate stands for, just that they know the name.

How do you not know who is running for MA gov? Who were you planning on voting for?

He was on Jeff Kuhner's show this morning (WRKO Radio) and was quite impressive. Pro 2A, wants to reform EBT & Welfare benefits, section 8 housing, stop the incentives for illegals who want to suck the state dry, etc... In short, he sounds like kind of person most of us would most likely want running this state.

Shakes head... You guys better becareful what you ask for because you might just get it. Marsha is the least of your worries for the Democrats.

Quite popular out here in the sticks, I've seen a bunch of his signs. Without looking, I want to say he's from Westfield MA?

D, you missed my larger point. Name recognition is everything in politics (getting elected) and he has none in E. MA.

When I go to vote, I'll have done my homework and have a cheat-sheet to who I'm voting for. I just printed GOAL's ratings sheet and will do some independent research prior to Tuesday. Keep in mind that I'm Unenrolled and plan on spoiling the Dem party hopefuls if we all do this together.

That's the plan for us unenrolled.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to LenS again.

Part of winning elections is swaying friends and family to liberty minded politicians. You haven't done homework yet and the primary is one week away. You should have known about Fisher months ago, he's been mentioned here hundreds of times, by FAR the best candidate for MA. You could have had dozens of discussions with friends and co-workers about him. That is if you're really serious about a real candidate being elected or if you'd rather continue to eat the shit sandwich you get served every 4 years.

Haven't seen any 3rd parties yet who I plan on voting for. Doesn't look like any (L)'s are running this election.

If you're thinking about voting for a Democrat in the primary to push Coakley through, please re-consider, that vote which could go for Fisher could make the difference.

Besides, Coakley is going to win the primary regardless.

Sad thing is that even if you do your homework early, and I did, you get to pick smooth or chunky for your sandwich.

Her being the Governor is one of the best troll jobs in a while for MA. What exactly has she done in MA besides failing at the last senate race? What does she do that John Q public knows about and appreciates? All she seems to be is a name that most drooling (D)'s recognize enough to be confident in a person who they are semi familiar with.

Coakley has zero leadership skills. Less than Obama, at least that retard was a senator for like 2 days before he became the president.

Agreed Dench, she should be fired for incompetence as AG and maybe even prosecuted for some of her BS, instead she'll most likely wind up in the corner office. Only in MA.

This. (if I was in Mass.)

Fisher is not going to even come close to winning the primary for Governor. If you decide to vote Republican only to try to elect Fisher, you will give up your chance to block Tolman in the Dem primary race for AG.

If Tolman wins his primary he WILL be your next AG. I guarantee it.

Tolman isn't going to win, the moonbats are in love with Healy.

Someone most of us here would want but not most of them out there.

Therefore, he ain't gonna get in. The commies in the state won't let it happen.

Sad........................

Voting that way is exactly what the D machine is counting on. Why do you think they roll idiots like Tolman out for election after election? It's a win win for them.

As much as I like you guys and respect GOAL and what you're doing, I don't believe for one minute that you are correct. Tolman is real. He is a very strong candidate and is working hard to win. He must be stopped.

I believe that Marty Walsh, Mayor of Boston, has endorsed Tolman.

I suspect that your response was generic and not addressed specifically to me. But I'll answer for myself:

- I have no co-workers. When I serve legal papers, I certainly don't get into conversations about politics (or anything else) . . . hand them the papers, get their info and out the door. Teaching has been dead all Summer with myself and every other instructor I've talked with (admittedly only a couple).
- All our local acquiantances are lock-step Dems and as liberal as it gets . . . if they were forced to give up 80% of their six-figure incomes for the "betterment of the downtrodden" (welfare leaches) they would do it with a smile to "save the earth"!
- The 4 people we socialize with (my Wife's friends) consist of 2 people who have never registered to vote and never will, the other couple are a retired school teacher and an Avon salesperson . . . both are as liberal as they come and all 4 hate guns and think that they should be universally banned.
- All my orgs are dormant during the Summer, last meetings were June. Gun club meetings don't count.

Leadership is no longer a pre-requisite for high office, that's been proven again and again for quite a while now . . . perhaps starting with JFK . . . he had tremendous charisma and a trophy Wife (who was also quite intelligent) and that was the beginning of voting for the "charm" in the US regardless of credentials.

The person who will have the most impact on MA gun owners is Tolman . . . if elected we are in for Hitleresq behavior out of his office. He's the one who must be stopped and voting R for those of us Unenrolled won't help stop him. The Gov'r is important but actually less important right now in this primary race.

Fisher suffers from no recognition of his name/face outside a small minority of people (active gun owners on this forum). This ensures that he won't win the primary. It's not my wish, but it is reality as I see it. Others may disagree.
