I am not a dealer. Never sold anything. As mentioned before I have decided to let go of some of my 99's. I am not a good picture taker but am willing to provide additional photographs if asked. I do have a 03 FFL. I am in the Lowell/Tewks/Wilmington area.
The pre 1960 99's were the best and classic ones and the most sought after. The fifties featherweights are highly sought after and are the epitome of the old Savage 99 deer rifles. I love them and truth be told it pains me to let them go.
All 3 are in original factory condition. The .300 Savage one is in very good condition, not perfect but very good. With the caliber it's why it's 1K.
The .308's carry a premium. Both are in 95% + condition. The bottom one looks like the day it was made. The middle one the day after it was made.
The bottom one: The LBC and serial ID as a 1956. The .308F didn't come out until 1957 so this F is a VERY EARLY 57 in the .308
The middle one : The LBC and serial ID as a late 57 in the .308
The top one: The LBC and serial ID as mid/late 59 in the .300 Sav
Pictures greatly magnify and exaggerate every little mark. . These are sweet rifles in hard to find condition. You are more than welcome to look at them.
