A friend of mine was cleaning out the garage of their Summer home yesterday and found an old wooden box with what appears to be a 32 Colt Police Positive( at least we think it is after a bit of research on line ). Some surface rust, barrel rust, lots of rust around the firing pin under the hammer. Cylinder does not turn. Grips in very good shape, and a US stamped military flap holster which seems to be in very good condition. They suspect it was his Grand Dads firearm likely from WW1.
At this point they are wondering who in SE MA to take it too for an evaluation. Possible restoration in mind but not 100% sure of their plans at this point. I do know at this time it is NOT for sale.
