458 Socom loads

I just picked up a 458 Socom upper and dies. I have a 45/70 350gr mold and will be hitek coating these. Anyone reload cast bullets for the 458 socom and have any recipes to share?

I don’t, but find it very cool that the mold will work for both! I can’t wait until I have more time to cast/hi tek coat. Both of the calibers you mention are on my short list.

I picked up a Tromix upper. I was thinking of trying one of the cheaper uppers but read too many reviews that said they have reliability issues.

I got a Tromix too but I wasn't cheap. also picked up some Lancer mags too, put 60 rounds thru it to start with no hiccups.

I'm using USGI mags for now. We'll see how they work. I'm waiting for the conversion kit for my 550 so I can load some rounds. I spent the day casting and coating bullets, I think I have enough for a while .
