The tap water here has an extremely high mineral content, so until I got an inline RO setup I was getting water from a kiosk. I had five 5-gallon jugs (the water cooler kind) and just used this pump to dispense water for drinking and cooking. I wasn't doing it for any sort of prepper purpose, but it did result in a very effective system for rotating stored water.
