I'm really pretty scared because I am so addicted... at least now I can protect myself from myself[shocked].

easily over 100 hours browsin[smile]g the interwebz for more. A good part of that on the NES classifies [smile]

Found the viridian C5L @ WALLY online for $225 ( easily the best price I found anywhere)

The first couple months were crazy for me too (for me anyway), I bought an SR9 the day after I got my LTC, also bought the LC9 and a Shotgun in the first 2 months also...I had to slow down because I couldn't afford to keep buying guns, I haven't bought a gun since April and I'm really jonesing for a new one. I spend $$$ on ammo mostly to enjoy what I do have.

IDK if everyone is the same way, buy a lot a first and then slow down after you realize how much you've spent in a short period of time.

Everyone knows Ruger's lead to bigger more potent guns.

These are gateway guns and when you run out of cash for guns and ammo you will be hanging around the range just hoping someone will let you shoot theirs.

All kidding aside that is a nice custom holster with Fattman on it, and welcome to the forum..
 
I was the same. In the spam of a a few months I went from nothing to a g19, silver pigeon, kimber ultra, 10/22, dan wesson pack, and an 1894. I told my wife that I wasn't spending money, I was diversifying our investments. She rolled her eyes, called me an a**h*** and walked away. [smile].
 
Will be a year for me on Monday since I made my first purchase. think I have 13 or 14 now.. it does slow down but you never stop thinking about the next one.

I never really had a sudden urge to buy a bunch at once since I already owned a pistol when I moved here from Seattle.
But.... now I'm up to 6 toys, about to buy #7 and #8 soon..... [laugh]

I got my LTC 2 weeks ago and I have a 10/22 and just received my CMP Garand (HRA Service Grade). The Garand is effn gorgeous and I can't wait to fire her tomorrow. I haven't bought any pistols yet, and despite the fact that I had planned on building an AR15 with the LRB lower I scored in the group buy, right now I'm leaning towards the next purchase being a Springfield Garand from the CMP to keep the HRA Garand company.

+4 on the Rugers with my new LTC - A. Now starting the AR quest...albeit slowly and cautiously.

You can always start with the upper and pick up the lower at another time. Or, just start buying up parts. Buy one piece a week, you'll be done in no time.

It does feel like the time to start...will have to consult my guru (yet again) for his sage black killy advice.
 
My LTC came in the mail this afternoon. Too late to make it to the gun shop. I'm heading up to NH in the AM to pick up the M1 I put a deposit on in July. Then depending on what shops are open with the long weekend I'll be grabbing a S&W 1911 I've had my eye on. Then I'll need a shotgun of some sort.....then I'll definitely need some type of .357/.38....and a .22 because the ammo is cheap...and I don't particulary want one but I NEED and AR...
 
My List since Aquiring LTC in March: Sometimes i feel like i really am sick and need a therapist. My Father loves my problem, but i really think he wants to slap me upside the head. I love to try to get friends to buy guns so i don't feel so bad.

I'm probably heading in the same direction. I don't even have an appointment yet and I have my first 3 guns mentally queued up.

Starting out with an SR9 then moving on to some sort of rifle, either an AR project or a Mini 14. From there I think I am screwed and poor.
