There is a well there so maybe he removed the mag?
I thought he was trying to trick us with the shadow not showing much detail in chamber mag well area?
o well , im still mad at myself for not jumping on the new in wrap enfields Liberty Tree had ....
 
I really think he's just showing us the pristine boltface.

Alas, he's probably sitting on a beach sipping a mai-tai for a few days, so it may be awhile before we know.
 
SMLEs were my first collecting interest. Twenty years ago I balked at paying more than $200 for a good one.

Yeah, not so much anymore...
 
I have a 1953 No4 Mk2 that is unfired as well. British Army contract with the tag still attached. Spent its life sitting in the armoury but apparently never let.

Still has grease in the barrel, I haven't had the heart to shoot it.
