So I've had the Ruger SR22 for a little over a month now, and I've shot a little over 700 rounds through it and I wanted to give a quick review of it.

1. Reliability. So far I have had zero FTF or FTE from this gun using CCI Mini-mags and CCI standard velocity. I can't comment on how it does with any other ammo because I did not use any other brand.

2. Accuracy. I did have to adjust the rear sight because it was trailing to the left a bit too much for my liking out of the box.

3. Ergonomics. For being such a small pistol, it fits my hands very well, in fact the grip is so well designed that it fits my hand better than some full sized pistols that I've used.

4. Value. The SR22 is a little more expensive ( i paid $370) than the Walther P22 I was first looking at, but after reading some reviews I'm glad I went with the Ruger. Also I want to touch on the excellent experience that I had at Pete's Gun Shop in Adams, the two guys I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Especially for a new shooter like me. They're prices are a little higher than some, but I would gladly pay a slight premium for dealing with friendly professionals.

I love my SR22. No problems with the same CCI that you've used, Winchester 36gr. HP, Federal 36gr. HP, Federal 40 gr. RN and some, I think, Aguillar ammo. It's very comfortable and accurate to shoot. I have experienced zero issues over about 1500 rounds fired. I know three people that have the Walther and two of them have had nothing but problems, the third can use only one brand of ammo that shoots reliably. All three have tried my SR and have bought or plan on buying one. I almost bought a Walther but saw the SR and bought that on the recommendation of the shop owner. IIRC I think I paid $319 for mine which I thought was a good deal. One of my favorite things about it is that it is close to the size of my carry gun and is much cheaper to shoot. I find that practicing with the SR translates very well to my Glock. Excellent gun.

I am glad to hear you guys like it. I have had a P-22 for a couple years now, and still like it. From everything I have read, the SR-22 is a great buy and fun to shoot.
