My father in law recently passed away and left me this rifle / shotgun combo. It was made in London by Sam and LC Smith around 1850. The stock and rifle barrel are in decent shape but the shotgun barrel had active orange rust when I got it. The rifle is about .32 caliber and the shotgun barrel about 20 gauge. There is a wooden case with compartments for everything that is whole but in poor shape. I have fired the rifle barrel with a .330 diameter patched ball and some Pyrodex. Not target accuracy but good enough to have some fun. 004.jpg
