I'm creating an adding to mygundb for tracking food supply, equipment, meds, water rotation, etc. I'm interested in hearing your ideas for what kind of items you need to track, and what data for them you want.

I figure on having it alert you when stuff is expiring, needs rotation, etc.

Let me know your thoughts!

great idea. love the program. any chance you could add in a 'print out' function specific to supplies? something to label items that are boxed in unusual boxs etc... Maybe even a '3-d' bar code that can pre printed up on placed on the items?

The issue with printing is that Adobe AIR kind of sucks for it. In fact, it's the only real negative I have about it. That said, I'm playing with a PDF generation system that's supposed to be pretty darn good and I'm thinking I could use for it. Making the barcodes is easy, actually, as I have the code for it already in place -- it's just the formatting for printing that'll take a bit of time. That's on the ToDo list.
