So i brought my Century AES-10B out to the range today for the first time. Impressions are that this is an extremely great gun for the price. I put about 100 rounds down range and had good luck right out of the box.
I setup a target at 50 yards and only used the iron sights as I have not purchased a scope yet. I had very good groupings and follow up shots were easy to make. I had a nice solid grouping of about 2 1/2 to 3 inches after warming up with it. No adjustments to the iron sights were needed.
The other thing was I did not use the mags that came with the gun which was a 40 and 30 round. I found that they need to be broken in slightly or adjusted some as the followers seemed to get stuck a little. So I was using some East German 30 round mags I had bought previously. I had no feeding problems.
I will add that I did install a recoil buffer but that is the only thing I modded on it. The trigger did feel a little rough but there was no trigger slap to speak of. I do find the stock to be a tad short. I may look in to putting a recoil pad on it simply to extend it slightly or buy another butt-stock all together.
All in all I would rate this gun for value and performance on a scale of 1-10 probably at around a 9 maybe even higher.
