Have found a 1982 romanian g kit built on a DC Industries NDS-3 receiver...This is a matching kit (trunnion, dust cover, gas tube, bolt, bolt carrier) built by AZEX arms of Arizona.

922r compliance for the rifle are:
- Tapco G2 trigger group (3)
- Pistol Grip (1)
- Receiver (1)
- Magazine Follower (1)

Does this mean it is A-ok to have shipped to MA? I apologize for the question, I have tried to research and make sure this is in fact ok, but I would like to be 100% sure before-hand. Thank you, I really appreciate any help.

It's 922(r) compliant with the US made parts that are listed. So you are good to go on a Federal level.

For MA compliance, make sure it does not have a bayonet lug (shave the ears off of it), doesn't have a folding stock, and has a permanently attached muzzle device that isn't a flash hider, or that it doesn't have threads on the end of the barrel.

Then you are good to go on a MA AWB level.

Thank you..unfortunately it is a side folder so I am guessing that means a no no. Damn. Appreciate the quick response.

if it's a side folding romanian AK, the folding stock can be easily removed and a fixed, wood stock can be added in it's place.

Romanian sidefolders are common. But attach to standard AKM rear trunnions, which can accept wood stocks. You'll be good to go.

it probably looks like one of these

that's a picture from my first AK build. All of the kits looked the same before we put them together. And then... I had to modify mine. I bet you can guess which one it is.
