I have a tgi sporter what i need to know is the top half of the handle moves (wiggles) so does the part were the gas piston is. is there something wrong?

Loose tolerances help reliability and hurt accuracy. Name of the game with the AK. Still my choice of weapon for the "what would you bring to the revolution" thread.

loose CLEARANCES help reliability. clearance would be the distance between the parts, this allows junk to simply drop through.

loose clearances also allow for loose tolerances. tolerance being the accuracy in which a final machined part, matches its blue print. loose clearances allow for loose tolerances which benefits reliability and interchangeability and in the end produces a cheaper product by allowing parts with a greater margin for error to be used as well as generally reducing the number of man hours used...


wow, i typed that, and i think its mostly right [laugh2]
