I took my 30-06 to the range today and sighted in my rifle & scope. Here are the results
with scope tweaks after each group, except # 4.
1- First group, 2 - Second Group, 3- 3rd Group (overcompensated), 4 - Final Group,
5 - Last shot (was aiming for the black box). BTW, the Past Shoulder pad is great.
Thanks to whoever recommended this to me. 180gr and the recoil felt was
minimal.

What distance did you sight in? Looks like as long as something goes walking by, you'll be eatin' some venison this year, Richard [wink]

50 yards, then 100 yards. The target shown is the 100 yard one. I shot the 50 yards again
to see where it was hitting after adjusting the scope for 100 and it was just about the same.

Should be a good season judging by the number of deer I've seen already. Just this past Sat night on route 49 in central MA I saw 6 deer in 2 groups. Sure got my attention at 11:30 pm.
