Im a bartender at a popular bar in the city, and recently Ive been moved to closing shifts where Im the only one in the joint at 1am and locking up alone. Great time for someone to pull a gun on me and take the place down. I have a class A sporting restriction. My question is does this job warrent me writing a letter to my COP trying to change over to ALP? Im not the owner so do I not have enough responsibility to convince the city that I need to carry? Also I only close once or twice a week, is that not enough risk? Should I talk to my owner before I try this, or is persuing my constiutional rights enough of an excuse to carry? Is this just a waste of time? Ideas?

Thanks

To apply for employment reasons you'll need a letter from your employer, which if you work for a corporate bar, probably isn't going to happen.

You'll also get an Employment restriction.

My advice: move to a greener town
