Anyone know where in MA you can get one of these? Four Seasons is out of stock and have no idea as to when they will get more in. Waiting list is huge.

Tell me about it. I've been on it since October. I spoke with Carl over the Christmas holiday and he told me I was at or near the top of the list...Still waiting. Love to get one before, well, you know. It's not that I blame Carl or anything, it's not his fault that they're popular and thus scarce.

I was lucky(?) enough to pick a used one up a few weeks ago at FS. I think it just came in. It was never used.

I've added a rail and a fake acog to it so far. Was hoping to first fire it at the Mansfield shoot but family obligations come first.

It looks like 2009 might be the year of the .22

GSG5 in SD trim
GSG and their AK .22
Sig has the 522.
S&W with their new M&P rifle in .22
Colt with their AR .22

Pretty cool in my opinion

just curious, what's a used gsg-5 going for, i'm thinking of selling mine?

I don't think you will have a hard time selling it.

I paid $449.00 at FS for the used GSG. Technically, it was brand new since it had never been fired but had to be sold as used since somebody already owned it (at least that was what I was told). It also came with a scope mount.

Hope that helps

Ok, I'm not sure that I know what gun this is... but it sounds like the MP5 looking .22?? If yes than I belive State Line in Mason NH had one when I was there a few hours ago ( along with on the self bushmasters/colt ect AR's AK type rifles ) My first time in the shop, they seemed nice. They also had a M&P .45c which was labeled "mass ok" but that might have been a typo drb

If you buy an out of state gun, make sure they give you ten round mags for it, due to Ch. 140, sec. 131 M, which makes large capacity new mags illegal for non-cops, non-military to possess. This is a felony punishable by up to ten years in state prison. Yikes!

I bought one this week from Northeast Trading. It is really well built and a fun little gun. Plus it saves a ton of money when my son is in the mood to shoot a bunch of rounds.

One LE in the store commented that he was using his for "hillbilly golf".

It might be more worth while trying to buy local. After buying online and paying for shipping and transfer costs you are looking at a good amount more than just buying local.

Edit: Holy jebus, after looking online to see what places were selling mags for and whatnot it looks like a lot of places are sold out of either the GSG5's themselves or their accessories. I'm glad I picked up 3 extra mags when I bought mine.
