Those who criticized must be Dick's
Police gather outside a Dick's Sporting Goods.

After reading Shannon Watts' comments I have had a change of heart.

I promise Ms Watts that, if she or anyone in her family is being shot at by a crazed gunman, or attacked in any other manner designed to cause great bodily harm, that I will not use any of my guns, or anything else in my possession, to prevent her or any of her family members from being killed or horribly maimed. I will just stand and and quietly denounce the shooter for bringing a gun to use in such a violent manner.

I will respect Ms Watts' beliefs in this matter.

The first thing I did after reading Shannon Watts post that he was illegally carrying a gun was check Indiana laws. It is not illegal there to ignore a store's policy of no guns.
My reaction was similar, but more of a "geeze not this shit again".

Funny thing how those policies work - Mass General patient heroically saves at least one life because he ignored hospital policy

This latest person saved lives because he ignored policy.

Uber had no policy. Uber driver stopped mass shooting. Uber responds with a "no guns" policy for drivers and passengers.

From FOX NEWS. [rofl]

"Critics are lashing out after a man carrying a pistol stopped a mass shooting at an Indiana shopping mall, arguing the man should not be called a "Good Samaritan."

"The term, ‘Good Samaritan’ came from a Bible passage of a man from Samaria who stopped on the side of the road to help a man who was injured and ignored," wrote CBS4 traffic anchor Justin Kollar on Twitter Monday. "I cannot believe we live in a world where the term can equally apply to someone killing someone… my God."

Kollar's comment comes after a gunman opened fire at a suburban Indianapolis shopping mall on Sunday, killing three people before he was gunned down by a man legally carrying a pistol, under Indiana's new constitutional carry law, according to police. Reports on Monday found that the man who put a halt to the shooting was actually in violation of Greenwood Park Mall policy, which bans the carry of weapons in its facility.

"Someone we are calling the ‘Good Samaritan’ was able to shoot the assailant and stop further bloodshed," Meyers said in a statement. "This person saved lives tonight. On behalf of the City of Greenwood, I am grateful for his quick action and heroism in this situation."

But some critics joined Kollar in criticizing the man's actions despite him allegedly putting a stop to the mass shooting.

"The Good Samaritan paid for an unknown immigrant's health care out of pocket," comedian John Fugelsang wrote on Twitter. "The Good Samaritan did not shoot anyone. Jesus was not a fan of killing for any reason, including self-defense. But if these ammosexuals had ever read the Bible, they couldn't support the GOP or NRA."

"I don’t know who needs to hear this but when a 22-year-old illegally brings a loaded gun into a mall and kills a mass shooter armed with an AR-15 after he already killed three people and wounded others is not a ringing endorsement of our implementation of the Second Amendment," Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts said on Twitter."

From today's WSJ.
So the moral of today's story is good guy with gun stops bad guy with gun. Who knew?

"The man accused of opening fire in a food court at an Indiana mall likely smuggled weapons in a backpack and reassembled them in a bathroom before the attack, police said.

Police identified the shooter on Monday as Jonathan Sapirman, a 20-year-old former warehouse worker with a former juvenile record. Mr. Sapirman is accused of killing three people and injuring two others Sunday at the Greenwood Park Mall just south of Indianapolis.

He brought with him to the mall two rifles and a pistol, opening fire with one of the rifles on a man outside of a restroom and on the mall’s food court, said Greenwood Police Chief Jim Ison. He was then shot dead by an armed shopper, police said.

The shooter had a juvenile record including fighting at school and as a runaway, police said. He recently resigned as a warehouse employee. Federal authorities are investigating the purchase of the weapons, Chief Ison said. Records from a local firing range show the shooter had been going there regularly for two years, police said.

The shooter left one rifle in the restroom, emerged with a SIG Sauer assault-style rifle and fired 24 rounds at a man outside the restroom and then into the food court before Elisjsha Dicken, who had been shopping at the mall in shorts and a T-shirt, engaged the shooter with a 9mm pistol he was carrying, Chief Ison said. The shooter tried to retreat into the restroom but slumped to the ground, mortally wounded. Mr. Sapirman had multiple magazines and over 100 rounds of ammunition on his person and in his possession.

Mr. Dicken was lawfully carrying a gun, Chief Ison said. Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb loosened the state’s gun laws in March when he signed a permitless carry bill into law. The Indiana State Police and some local law-enforcement agencies opposed the move, saying it would make it harder for them to catch people who shouldn’t be carrying guns. The law, which took effect this month, allows most adults without a criminal record to carry a handgun without a permit.

Simon Property Group, which operates the mall, said weapons weren’t allowed at its shopping centers. “We are grateful for the strong response of the first responders, including the heroic actions of the Good Samaritan who stopped the suspect,” Greenwood Park Mall said on its website.

Police found the shooter’s mobile phone in a toilet in the mall restroom. It suffered water damage. Law enforcement officers found a laptop at his home that was in an oven that had a can of butane in it. The laptop suffered heat damage."

I'm sensing that the lunatics have become overly confident in their childish tantrums and are now overplaying their hands. (Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.)

We all know there are loonie commies out there, but keep in mind any time you read Twitter that 90% of the outrage porn you read is Russian/Chinese paid troll.

They get paid to post this dumb shit to rile us up. They know we are dumb enough to fall for it and that we are on the brink of shooting each other over it.

I can go and start a thread just for giggles titled “why does anyone need a belt fed .50?” And it will have 100 angry replies in 10 minutes

"Police found the shooter’s mobile phone in a toilet in the mall restroom. It suffered water damage."
Being that I work in a Mall, and have to deal with toilets plugged up with cell phones (once they go in, they don't come out, you have to pull the toilet), I am REALLY glad the cocksukker was shot to death!

So are you a licensed plumber, or do you have to make the phone call?

I used to have a pic of a pink Iphone remove from a toilet in the men's room.... from about 6 or 7 years ago. Now it would not even seem odd.
Edit: thought you were making a joke about using the phone from the toilet. No, unfortunately, I have to pull the toilets.

At least this news station is telling the whole truth, and not running a narrative. He is a hero, and they say so, and they give props to their "Constitutional Carry" state. Nice. YouTube is apparently preventing this from being linked...

I think he took down that comment because of the backlash. His Facebook page comments have not been kind to him.

the clown does traffic and weather. He's paid to read what they put in front of him. He has not formal training in meteorology.

I was asking if you are a licensed plumber, or if you called one from your phone, because a business obviously would not allow an unlicensed employee steal income from a plumber.
