Hi All,

Looking at joining the pemi club...it's an hour's ride for me but far less expensive than Sunrise Mountain F&G in Canterbury and it appears to be a very nice club/range...$20 plus the $5 day fee will be much cheaper for me this coming year as it appears I won't be getting to the range but a few times during this coming spring/summer/fall...

I was wondering when they start accepting $$$ for the upcoming years membership

Thanks!

As far as I recall they don't pro rate, so with the membership running April 1st to March 31st, your best bet would be to wait til April to fill out and mail in the application. It's cheap no matter how you slice it.

It used to be you could walk up, fill out the membership card and pay the range fee and shoot. Just put them both in the honor box. Now you have to mail in the app.

Thanks! Exactly the info I was looking for...although it's an hours' ride for me rather than 15 minutes for the club in Canterbury, the Canterbury club wants $165 for the first year...too rich for me this year. Maybe next year.
Ashland is close enough for me to grab the handguns and break down the AR and throw them in the saddlebags on my bike and take a nice ride north.

On the website (http://pemi.org) they have a preliminary plan to put in a 1000 yard range and were going before the board in December to look at spending $$ on the design phase. Apparently they logged the piece already.

But they have been discussing a 300 to 600 yard range for years as well, so not sure if this will pan out.

Nice club, good place to shoot but too far from my house...
