and who do you think will have them first?
the Compact is looking like my next purchase, I'm giddy with anticipation [smile]

OP did use search, did not find any release date info.................that's why I'm asking [rolleyes]
There is a thread(s) with release date info from people that have talked to Sig. I think April/May ship was the latest but I'd recommend subscribing to or asking on those threads to the people in the know. Otherwise contact your dealer and hope they get some.

I was up at the Sig Pro Shop a week or two ago looking at the P320 subcompact. Interesting fact that I was not aware of. The subcompact is available in 2 configurations: 1 without a rail and 1 with a rail. First time I heard of there being one with a rail in the subcompact size.

The employee helping me claimed the only difference there was going to be between the free state model and the MA model was that the MA model was going to have a safety added. No changes are supposed to be made to the trigger. When I asked him when it was going to be offered for sale in MA, he told me it was still a few months out, since the model with the safety was still in the prototype stage and being tested by Sig. I'm not sure if this applies to all the P320 models or just the subcompact.

ugghhhh a few more months? :(

Problem is that they are on the EOPS list but apparently not on the secret AG list. I have heard there are a few shops that are already stocking them. Look around. I ended up getting one second hand with a bunch of accessories.

Unless you want it with a safety, I recommend snooping around to find out how to get a free-state one.

This... just go buy the thing, with the amount of effort herking and jiving about when something is going to be compliant, most people could have found what they wanted and bought it already.

Also this handgun compliance stuff... makes me think of Hogg and his helicopter.... only bad things come out of this.
