I am thinking about sending mine out to have it done but am on the fence.

I would really like to check one out so I can make up my mind. I live in Franklin, work in Norton, and shoot at HSC.

If there is anyone local to me that has one that would not mind meeting up so I can check it out or meet up and do some shooting at HSC that would be great.

Please reply to this thread or PM me. The responses I am looking for are I have one and want to meet up/shoot.

What I am not looking for is responses from Dick Hurtz from Holden telling me how he has been shooting Glock serial # 00000001 for 50 years and that any one that that even thinks about doing this is a moron for wasting their money.

Thanks.

Kev i just got a glock 17 , and out of all the places ive seen on the web, i'll be sending my glock to cold bore customs for glock hump removal and re- texturized.

Most people that have small hands have a hard time shooting Glocks. My wife can't shoot one without a reduction because her hands are very small and can't get a high enough on the gun which causes it to stove pipe.I have fairly large hands and I prefer no finger grooves and a reduction to a grip angle similar to a 1911.

To me this allows people who don't like the grip angle , the hump or have small hands to be more accurate and comfortable shooting one of the best & reliable combat handguns.

I do then 2 different ways "candle technique" which allows for heat stippling or fill & grind which uses an epoxy to fill the back strap & also used for texturing.

Fill & grind

I have a Glock 21 with grip reduction. I shoot at Westwood Gun Club if you're interested.

Cheers,

That looks really good.

I have stippled and modified the trigger guard on my 17 but am not sure if I want the grip reduction and if I do like it I am not sure if I would do it myself.
