Anyone know the length of an AR 16" barreled upper?

I have a duffel bag that has a bottom compartment that I use for a range bag, it is 26" wide, and it holds my AR broken down in it just fine. It has a 16" barrel with a comp, so probably closer to 17-17.5".

Check out GALATI GEAR for your case.
They have them that you can put the upper in one side and the lower in another for around $35 - $40. I'm getting ready to pick one of them up for my AR. It should make transport of the rifle a little more simple. I've got a slightly smaller one from them for my take down Browning SA-22 and I love it. For like $30 it was money well spent, the rifle now stores in places in my truck or car it wouldn't before.
Note: thought these cases don't have magazine pouches / holders on them so you'll need some sort of range bag or backpack.
