APEX hard sear for M&P40

So I just picked up a nice M&P40 from a member here and I'm looking for an APEX hard sear. Does any shop in MA stock them or is On-Line my only option? I'd rather throw the business here some cash, versus the big box type of store on-line.

What makes you think the SW sear in not good? I've never seen one fail to hold an edge.

My M&P9 is much better (lighter) with the APEX sear.

I believe four seasons has the apex kits and will install them for little or no additional cost. I want to say I have seen the kits at Bob's in Webster and First Defense in Uxbridge.

I recommend you do the whole Apex DCAEK. Hard sear and sear spring, replacement striker block plunger and spring, replacement trigger return spring. Straightfoward DIY, which takes maybe 45 minutes the first time you do it and maybe 15 minutes for subsequent installs. Need a 1/8" roll pin punch; also helpful are 1/8 or 1/16 straight pin, tweezers, and magnifier.

Four Seasons doesn't have them. I stripped one out of my M&P9 and swapped it in. Night and day in feel. I'll have to order on line.
