Yea I'm actually very excited. I just signed up for October and April, trying to decide on one or two other dates. I thought I would post up the dates and let everyone know about the upcoming events.

The Pelham ones and I imagine the Dunbarton ones are all outside. Winterseed is the term for an Appleseed held in the winter.

What you need is a Distinguished patch for scoring 230 or better with irons, 240 or better with a scope. And the Holy Grail is the 250 patch.

That's my goal this year, Distinguished with both.

I did qualify with both my 10/22 and my AR in one event. But only got one patch lol.

Trying to drum up some interest from a few friends to do another soon.

I want the green one as it won’t be so f’ing cold this time.

It was Feb 2020. Went home and hid under a blanket all night with the heat cranked.

The only reason not to is the “test” has a timed portion with a reload. Unless they changed the test again from when I did it. I’m sure they will accommodate you if that’s the gun you have.

I have never heard of a pistol seed. I guess it’s been a long time since my last Appleseed. Thank for calling this out, I can’t wait to try one!

ETA I recently bought a Nordic 22lr ar upper with Appleseed in mind. Thing is much more accurate than my marlin. I can’t wait to get that to an Appleseed too.
