I have owned a bushmaster and DPMS AR in the past and am looking to purchase one again. This time I want a higher end rifle and am considering a DDM4V5 though also am considering a custom build and have heard good things about Colts, BCM, Larue, etc. The gun will ultimately be a SHTF rifle for practice and to take some classes with rather than something for target/competition. I am interested in something high quality, sub $2k and DI rather than piston.
Recommendations? Also, any recommendations on where to purchase in MA?
