Just wanted some suggestions and to see what others are using for triggers in 50 BMG AR platform rifles. I have my lower complete and would like to swap out the trigger for a Timney but don't know if this is the right choice. I've read some mixed reviews between the Geissele and Timney and not sure which way to go yet. Any positive input will be appreciated.
Thank you, Dan

Holy shit that's sexy. I'm sorry I don't have anything constructive to add to the conversation... BUT DAMN. Between this and the AK thread.... My gun envy is through the roof. I'm going to go cry in a corner for the rest of the night.

Side fed magazine? (I'm completely ignorant to an AR platform 50bmg) Until now... And I need one in my life.

This style is a single shot, you have to remove the bolt after every round to re-load it and there are no modifications to the lower. With the price of ammo I don't mind taking my time to reload it.

I have heard 100% positive things about Geissele triggers, and good/mixed reviews on the Timney. I don't think you can go wrong with a Geissele.

Sweeeet. :)

Happy with my Timney, but the reviews I have heard over the last year would lead me to go with Geissele next time around. Although I can never remember how they pronounce their name.

A Timney may not light off the big primers. You'd be better off with a JP using a stock hammer spring. My Timney would not ignite Hornady Steel Match in my DPMS .308.

I looked it up a while back and I believe it's "guys - lee"

Thats good to know... I have a dpms .308 in the safe and I just picked up some of the Hornaday steel match yesterday at Dicks. I will keep that in mind when I swap out the stock trigger. I will have to do some research on the JP before I make a decision.

Standard trigger with the hardest hammer spring you can find and then an auxiliary hammer spring from Watson's added on top of that.
