Get a Recoil Tactical instead. Better deal for a groin pistol on a single pt sling. They seem to be always out of stock anyways. Then flux does drops where they build up the hype. I don't have time for that.
I will be IN if someone can convince me it is cool. Looking at pics, it looks lame AF.
Wut?Isn't the whole point of the ATF's ruling is a 'brace' is a 'stock'?
So if that definition stands, just put a longer barrel on your 'pistol'?
No, I'm talking about what the ATF is trying to do that's currently tied up in court. A 'brace' is a 'stock' hence you have to register your SBR if you want to keep a brace on it.Wut?
No, brace is a brace and a stock is a stock. This has been codified
No. That’s been 100% overturnedNo, I'm talking about what the ATF is trying to do that's currently tied up in court. A 'brace' is a 'stock' hence you have to register your SBR if you want to keep a brace on it.
Ok, I never followed it, last I looked into it, it was pending another court ruling. I would never own such an abomination as nasty as an AR style pistol. Time for Rosane Rosanadanna:No. That’s been 100% overturned
That’s no longer a thing. And why a bunch of us are fapping to ar/ak/mp5/flux pistols.
Braces are braces. ATF over reached
It’s an sbr without the taxOk, I never followed it, last I looked into it, it was pending another court ruling. I would never own such an abomination as nasty as an AR style pistol. Time for Rosane Rosanadanna:

Lol. It’s your $200 and state border limits to abide by if that’s your desire. I find it to be a major benefit and if one wants to it’s a very easy avenue towards an sbr.Ok, I never followed it, last I looked into it, it was pending another court ruling. I guess technically mine isn't a SBR as it sits.......but a couple of twists it would be. Not that I would own such a thing. It’s an sbr without the tax
Eta. Why is it an abomination and nasty?
I’m always wondering why people shit on everything here. .40 I get. But the rest? lol
Yup! Lol.I guess technically mine isn't a SBR as it sits.......but a couple of twists it would be. Not that I would own such a thing.
I really need to add a /s to most of my posts.
Saw a guy with a setup in his truck while I was pulling his codes. I said 'what an icky gun, I bet it makes a lot of noise.' He said, 'yeah, it is kind of loud'. I replied something like 'if I owned something like that it would be a little longer, but quieter'.Yup! Lol.
There are no bad guns, just bad owners.

It took him a second.
I just bought one down here...they are fxcking gangsta. And loud without the suppressor! This.
Get ready for the AK pistols. #Gangsta!
I do believe that is the regulation. Once a rifle always a rifle. Is it the case that the ATF says if manufactured as a rifle it cannot be reconfigured to a pistol with the addition of a brace substituting a stock?
In other words, once a rifle always a rifle.
I had heard this before but have never research the actual law/regulation.
2 weeks.What did I miss?
They've reverted back to "Born as a rifle, always a rifle".Is it the case that the ATF says if manufactured as a rifle it cannot be reconfigured to a pistol with the addition of a brace substituting a stock?

(thread drift)The New Hampshire "loaded in a car" law uses the state law (RSA §159:1) definition of a pistol to make the distinction, not the federal/ATF definition.
OTOH, the updated definition of "loaded" in RSA §207:1 makes the whole thing moot.
It's cooler with 30 round mags...I will be IN if someone can convince me it is cool. Looking at pics, it looks lame AF.
It's a shortcut to (attempt) to get the purple-haired crowd to shut up about the RSA's containing language such as "until he has filed a copy of the permit" without having to to through and take out "he" and "his" everywhere it appears.(thread drift)
Dafug is this in the updated NH law??
"XVIII. Number; Gender: The singular shall include the plural; and the masculine shall include the feminine and neuter."
^ This!!
But, what new law did I miss?2 weeks.
But, what new law did I miss?
This is the 1st I'm seeing of it
So I'm assuming I can't go buy a stribog, pmx or scorpion in that format now either because of 8/1?The new law makes AR pistols etc legal if you lawfully possessed it on 8/1. That is you own the serialized part. So while you cant build one today, on 10/23 you can turn your stripped lower into a Pistol.
I Just bought a pre 8/1 FCU for use in the Flux Raider build... I'll probably turn a extra lower into an AR pistol.

Interesting thread.
Couple points - the ATF attempted to say that braces are stocks after saying for years that braces aren't stocks. This led to people being potentially put into the position of either re-configuring their firearm so that it was a pistol, (by removing the brace), reconfiguring as a rife - by changing the barrel, or applying for an NFA stamp for a SBR. The ATF was sued by multiple firearms groups and basically got their peepee slapped.
Among other groups, GOA, FPC and SAF were responsible for the suits.
SBRs cannot simply "travel freely", there's paperwork to be filed if you take it across state lines. Pistols have no such restrictions.
My 7.5" AR pistol, with red dot and armbrace makes an insane truck gun, that's legal as a pistol in any state that I have reciprocity in, except for commie states that specifically outlaw "assault weapons".
Yes - it's LOUD. If I need it, I don't think that's gonna be my primary consideration. It's not a range toy, it's a self-defense weapon.
