AR Question

The magazine well is larger on the AR-10 and the receiver varies in a few other dimensions as well. The AR-10 lower receiver can be built with standard ar-15 parts except the takedown pin, pivot pin, bolt stop, and mag catch. The AR-10 also uses a shorter rifle buffer than the AR-15. I am referring to the Armalite AR-10 receiver (that's what I have).

About $250 [rofl]

The AR10 fires a 7.62x51mm NATO round so it's got a bigger magwell than the AR15 to accommodate the larger magazine. There are a few other differences but that's what leaps out the most when you see them.
