As you guys know, on a standard collapsible AR15 stock there is a spring loaded pin that is compressed when the lever on the stock is depressed.

If the lever and nut were removed and the pin was ground down so that it couldn't be accessed, would the stock considered permanently affixed?

Just slap one of these on your AR while you're in the PRM. Put whatever you want on when you reach a Free State.

Why bother buying a whole new stock when a tiny roll pin fixes the problem.

Because I can change stocks in under two minutes. Can you say the same thing with a pinned stock?
