AR upper help?

The pic below is an M&P15 that I shot and really like the looks of. So forgive my lack of AR knowledge but can anyone tell me what I should be looking for and asking for to make/buy and upper similar to this one? I am guessing the rail can be added at any point if it does not come with the upper? Also a muzzle break is not important to me and I actual like the look of no muzzle device with a heavy barrel.

Any ideas?

There is one awaiting up at State Line gun shop in Mason NH. All you would have to do is add the EOTech 511 or 551...

You could also get a flat top, barreled upper and install a free float hand guard and rail mount the sight.

If you can change your oil you can probably put an AR together. A great part of the AR platform is how easy it is to build and upgrade yourself. I was a little nervous at first, but it actaully took longer to place the parts orders than assemble my AR project.

Here is a S&W M&P 15FT that comes with the Quad Rail and no accessory on the barrel end. Having an upper made in this configuration would be easy, as all of the parts are relatively standard. The front rail is an OEM from Troy, as are the iron sights.
