whats the OAL???
why?
IANAL though..
I don't believe it would be legal federally.
why?
there are plenty funky stocks out there (ACE among others) that are nothing but a tube...
I am trying to picture it, but how would it be different than being an AR pistol?

This is interesting....how does the state define a stock? If it's just "a thingy that goes up" lol or something that just is there to push the shoulder against....technically anyone could use a turkey leg as long as it was securely attached...correct?
allegidly we can open cary as well.

The issue is federal, not state.
It's interpretive. It would be a stockless rifle (if one interprets the buffer tube as NOT a stock). Which just goes to show you how stupid the laws are. Underfolder is OK, but stockless is an AOW.
Providing the barrel length is at least 16" and the OAL is at least 26", I don't see a problem. Am I missing something?
